Tried PP on my drum buss without Air yesterday and was blown away. The only thing I wish I knew is if it uses oversampling. I think not. I can easily overcome this by running the whole project oversampled, but would be nice to have the option.

No need for online mastering: just take control of gain staging and perform M/S-EQ, MB-Compression and Analog flavor (tape or tube) and finally limiting or even better wave shaping.

This only makes sense if you deal with a sample or a loop. Relation between kick and the bass played live ocilates in milliseconds between notes and bars because we’re human. Those milliseconds diminish your effort to put those two in phase throughout the song. Separately yes, if signal chain is wired to push speaker cone backwards first, you can flip that. Relation between instruments played by hand cannot be phase aligned.

Explain this without an oscilloscope is a bit funny...

Well it should be noted that ,and I don't hear him talk about this, but it is kind of obvious, when you talk about cycles like everyone likes to do the speaker will obvjously go in & out 50 times at 50 cycles or 50Hz, which leave much less deffiniton oppossed to lets say the 4Khz which goes in & out 4000 times per second...That is probably imo also why I don't really care for phase shifting at those mid to high frequencies if the sound adds a special thing to the mix.

YO! I love how you integrated the force into Ableton for this! Did you by chance MIDI map the empty track pads to the live session so you could bypass the "Networked Ableton clip launcher"? Or is this all via the Stock Ableton integration via Network and you used the keyboard for midi?
